Meteorite is a unique, low-resolution first-person shooter Metroidvania game developed using Godot 3.0. Created for LOWREZJAM 2018, it draws inspiration from the iconic Metroid Prime. Players explore a remote facility, acquiring gun upgrades and enhancing their movement capabilities to progress through previously insurmountable obstacles.
Gameplay and Features
The game challenges players with numerous turrets and a giant floating eyeball boss that shoots purple laser beams, testing their combat and self-defense skills. Key features include:
- Exploration of a detailed facility on an alien planet.
- Acquisition of weapon upgrades to enhance combat effectiveness.
